SRAM GXP PressFit BB86 Road Bottom Bracket

The SRAM GXP PressFit BB86 Bottom Bracket is a direct replacement for road frames built to the BB86 standard and running a SRAM or Truvativ GXP crankset. Designed for frames with an 86.5mm shell width and 41mm inside diameter, it uses a press-fit design that eliminates threaded interfaces, simplifying both frame construction and installation. The GXP-specific stepped spindle interface — 24mm on the drive side, 22mm on the non-drive side — precisely locates the crank laterally without the need for spacers or preload adjusters. Note: this bottom bracket is not compatible with SRAM DUB, BB30, PF30, or BB90 systems.

Composite nylon cups keep weight low and press cleanly into aluminum or carbon BB86 shells without damaging the frame. Sealed steel cartridge bearings and SRAM's Gutterseal bearing shields work together to reduce contamination from water and grit. Sold as a complete set including two bearing cups and a center tube, installation requires a headset-quality bearing press — hammering is not recommended.
